Ana's Kitchen · Point of Sale

A system that connects a restaurant floor, kitchen, register and back office: the order is taken at the table, reaches the kitchen instantly and is ready to charge, with no paper tickets in between.

The challenge

A twenty-table restaurant coordinated everything by hand: orders were written on paper and someone walked them to the kitchen. If the slip got lost or the handwriting was unclear, the dish came out late or came out wrong. And at closing time, knowing the day sales meant adding up tickets one by one.

The solution

We built a point of sale with four PIN logins, one per role: server, kitchen, register and admin. Each person signs in and sees only what their job needs, and everything syncs across screens in real time.

What we built

{{ f }}

One screen per role

Each role signs in with its own PIN and lands on a screen designed for that job, not a menu full of options they will never use.

{{ s.title }}

{{ s.desc }}

Outcome

The system is live in production. The order the server takes appears in the kitchen immediately, the register charges without re-adding anything, and the daily close is no longer calculated by hand: sales, average ticket and tips are all visible in the admin dashboard.

What we built

Floor plan with live table status

Digital order pad organised by menu category

Orders reach the kitchen instantly

Kitchen display with audio alert

Register with open tabs by table

Checkout with tips and expense tracking

Reports on sales, tickets and average ticket

Menu, user and floor administration

One screen per role

Each role signs in with its own PIN and lands on a screen designed for that job, not a menu full of options they will never use.

Floor

The server sees free and occupied tables at a glance, with each table running total, and taps a table to take the order.

Order pad

The menu is browsed by category and items are added to the order, which is sent to the kitchen with one tap.

Kitchen

A dedicated screen with live orders and an audio alert when a new one arrives, designed to be read from across the room.

Register

Tabs ready to charge appear with their total already calculated, and the day expenses are recorded from here too.

Outcome

The system is live in production. The order the server takes appears in the kitchen immediately, the register charges without re-adding anything, and the daily close is no longer calculated by hand: sales, average ticket and tips are all visible in the admin dashboard.
